Randy Hunt brings 40 years’ experience in several functional areas of business. He has held management and ownership positions in both public and private companies, with emphasis in business development, business acceleration, and C-level relationship and account management. Randy received his BS degree with honors from Utah State University. He has served in executive management and/or ownership positions with three airlines, two large travel companies, meeting and incentive companies, a leadership and management development firm, an insurance company, a resort and hospitality group, a strategic planning and M&A firm, a risk assessment and solutions group, a recognition products company, several business advisory firms, and a publicly traded human resource firm.

 

Randy is a co-founder and former co-owner, with David Neeleman, of the successful airline Morris Air, which was sold to Southwest Airlines. It was Morris Air that introduced “e-ticketing” to the entire airline industry. As a former owner and executive officer overseeing corporate and incentive clients, he also assisted Utah-based Morris Travel and Morris Meetings & Incentives in growing from USD $13MM to over USD $160MM in sales. Morris was also successfully sold. The combined revenues of both Morris companies exceeded USD $350MM.

Randy’s “M.O.” is that of an “intrapreneur” – throughout his career he has a proven track record of coming into a variety of organizations and making them better.

Hunt has traveled on business and pleasure to 34 countries, has been to Hawaii more than 50 times, and to Mexico more than 35 times.

During his 35+ year career, Randy has been active on several civic and charity boards, with much of his time spent in youth organizations such as Salt Lake Boys & Girls Clubs, Junior Achievement, and Prevention of Child Abuse. He served a 6-year term on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish of Utah where he was Board Chair. Earlier in his life, Randy also served as a full-time volunteer missionary for two years in the Philippines.

Hunt is a 40-year resident of Farmington, Utah, where he and his wife of 45 years – Bonnie, have raised five awesome children. Randy enjoys spending time with his family, meeting unique people around the world, golfing, fly-fishing, photography, movies, and riding his ATV in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains near his home.
